Leah's passion for animals runs deep. From her early days showing dogs and horses in 4-H to managing and training alpacas on multiple farms, she's built a lifetime of hands-on experience with creatures great and small.

Her journey started in her teens as a pet and farm sitter, caring for everything from beloved family pets to barnyard animals. After high school, Leah jumped into the veterinary world, working in a clinic where her love for animal care only grew stronger. It was there she discovered her calling in dog grooming.

Today, Leah is a skilled and compassionate Fear Free Certified Groomer who brings a calming presence to every grooming session. Whether it's a pampered poodle or a muddy farm dog, she takes pride in making each pup look and feel their best.

With a heart for all things feathered, furred, or hoofed, Leah continues to offer pet and farm sitting services alongside her grooming work. Her dedication, expertise, and genuine love for animals shine through in everything she does!

A dog lover and true hippie chick. She believes that music and dogs are the greatest therapy in the world!

She is a Certified Animal Naturopathist, meaning she has studied about animal nutrition and diseases related to the environment on a macro level.

Kaitlyn is the magic behind every fresh-baked pupcake, peanut butter biscuit, and carob-dipped treat in our shop. She handles everything from daily retail operations and managing inventory to scheduling grooming appointments and making sure the shop runs like a dream.

But when she's not running the show at Wags, Kaitlyn’s just as cool outside the bakery!

She’s a sports fanatic — with her heart forever loyal to the New York Yankees, Ohio State Buckeyes and Cincinnati Bengals (Who Dey!) 🐅
And her all-time favorite band? None other than The Beatles!

Madaline's passion and love for dogs started with her childhood miniature pincher Doc. He taught her patience, unwavering love, and the need to be present and aware in the moment. This has helped her develop an attention to detail and a love for every dog beyond their haircut. She loves educating others about dog body language, nutrition, exercise, and enrichment, as all of these factors, and more, affect the dogs experience in the salon!

Madaline now has a full house and a full heart with 3 cats and 3 dogs. When she adopted her German shepherd mix, Wesley, he struggled with intense anxiety and reactivity. This, alongside working with other nervous dogs, fueled her passion to become a Fear Free Certified Groomer to help dogs become more confident and comfortable with the grooming process!

In addition, Madaline loves art in many forms from music to painting and everything in between. "There is beauty and art everywhere if we're willing to see it. Grooming is one of the many ways I express myself and my art."

Emily Thompson is an experienced dog groomer who started her career in Orlando, Florida, where she completed Grooming Academy in 2011. She gained valuable professional experience working at PetSmart from 2011 to April 2014 before relocating to Ohio.

After leaving Petsmart, Emily operated her own home grooming service locally, allowing her to build strong, personalized relationships with both pets and their owners.

After taking time to focus on her family, Emily is excited to return to the grooming industry, bringing both her experience and passion for working with dogs back into her career. She takes pride in providing quality care and ensuring each dog feels comfortable, safe, and well-loved.
