Wags Bakery Baked Treats
Wags Bakery bakes treats with human-grade, wholesome ingredients and minimizes the use of added sugar, salt, and preservatives in our products (where possible). Please read each label carefully and speak with your vet with any questions.
To retain the longest, freshest product lifespan, we recommend refrigerating your treats where possible OR storing them in an open container that allows continued drying without trapping moisture.
FOOD COLORS
Wags Bakery uses all-natural food coloring for our iced treats and decorations wherever possible. Food coloring options include plant-based colors such as: spinach, cabbage, beetroot, turmeric, blue butterfly pea, carrot, black Iron oxide pigment, and others. If you have a specific question about a color we have used, please reach out to us.
We also use edible ink markers that are dog-safe and purchased through K9 Cakery.
GLUTEN-FREE/WHEAT-FREE
We have a few treat options that are now Gluten-Free/Wheat-Free if your pet has a wheat allergy, or you would like to stay away from gluten products for your pet. These treats were originally made as Grain-Free (we used coconut flour) but have since switched to a flour that contains rice, sorghum, tapioca and potato starch, as working with coconut flour was extremely difficult and time-consuming. We apologize for not offering true grain-free products at this time. We will continue to explore more viable solutions for grain-free products, and hope to offer those again in the future.
