Located just south of Urbana and minutes from Springfield, Ohio, Wags Bakery is now offering grooming every Wednesday at Lil Dog Ranch Located at 4450 Storms Creek Rd, Urbana, Ohio —a peaceful, retreat-like boarding spot for small dogs. We welcome dogs of all sizes for baths, trims, and full-service grooming with plenty of care and attention.
Bellefontaine
Opening April 15, Wags Bakery & Grooming is bringing our boutique grooming experience to downtown Bellefontaine at 118 N Main Street. We offer full-service grooming Monday through Friday for dogs of all sizes, with Saturdays reserved for Suds & Saturdays, our fun DIY bath experience.

Cancellation & No-Show Policy
Scheduling with Care
At Wags Bakery & Grooming, your appointment time is reserved specifically for your pet. Last-minute changes and missed visits leave empty time slots that could have been offered to other clients. To keep our schedule fair and available for everyone, we have the following policy.
24-Hour Cancellation Policy
We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
Late Cancellations (less than 24 hours’ notice):
• First occurrence: A credit card will be required on file to hold future appointments. For NO SHOWS (see No-Show Policy), this will move to an automatic cancellation fee of up to $55
• Second occurrence: Up to a $55 cancellation fee will be charged to the card on file.
Late Arrivals
If you arrive more than 15 minutes past your scheduled appointment time, services may be refused due to scheduling constraints. If the groomer is able to accommodate a late arrival, a $15 late fee will be applied.
No-Show Policy
A no-show is defined as missing a scheduled appointment without providing notice.
• Clients who no-show, have a third late cancellation (less than 24 hours’ notice), or have a declined or invalid card on file will be charged a non-refundable fee up to $55 and will be required to prepay in full before booking another appointment.
This policy helps us protect our groomers’ time and maintain availability for all clients. We appreciate your understanding.

Late Pick-Up Policy
Timely Pick-Up Expectations
We ask that all pets be picked up promptly once their grooming session is complete. Dogs left beyond a reasonable pick-up window, including extended stays before or after their appointment time, may be subject to additional holding or daycare fees. This policy helps us maintain a smooth schedule and ensures the comfort, safety, and supervision of all pets in our care. Please note that pick-ups after closing time will incur additional charges.
Coat Condition & Matting Policy
At Wags Bakery & Grooming, every dog’s coat and temperament are unique, and our grooming time and pricing reflect the individual care needed. Coat condition and behavior both play a role in the grooming process.
Severe matting can be uncomfortable and may hide skin issues, so it often requires extra time, specialized handling, and additional fees. In many cases, a close shave is the most humane option. While we work carefully and patiently, removing heavy matting can sometimes reveal pre-existing skin concerns. If we believe continuing would cause discomfort or risk to your pet, we may stop the groom and recommend veterinary care, which can result in an incomplete groom.
We believe in honest, upfront communication and will discuss any concerns or potential added charges with you. Our priority is always your dog’s comfort, safety, and well-being, and we’re happy to share coat-care tips to help prevent matting between visits.

Vaccination & Health Requirements
Ensuring Safety and Well-being
To maintain a safe and healthy environment at Wags Bakery & Grooming, we require all dogs to be up to date on their core vaccinations appropriate for their age and lifestyle. This includes vaccinations for rabies, distemper, and parvovirus, among others. We also ask that you disclose any aggressive behavior at the time of booking, so we can ensure the safety of all pets and staff during your visit.
Additionally, dogs must be free from any contagious conditions at the time of their appointment. This policy helps us maintain a clean and safe grooming environment for every pet in our care. Your cooperation in adhering to these requirements is greatly appreciated and ensures a positive experience for everyone involved.
