🍂 FALL CAN MEAN MORE SHEDDING
For many dogs, seasonal changes can trigger increased shedding as their coats adjust.
Double-coated breeds can be especially noticeable during seasonal coat changes. Loose undercoat can become trapped beneath the topcoat if it isn’t removed, leading to extra shedding around your house and potentially contributing to tangles or impacted coat.
Regular brushing at home combined with professional grooming and appropriate de-shedding services can help remove loose coat and keep your dog more comfortable.
🐾 COOLER WEATHER DOESN’T MEAN GROOMING SHOULD STOP
One common misconception is that dogs need to “grow their coat out” once temperatures begin dropping.
Your dog may benefit from a longer haircut during cooler months, but that doesn’t necessarily mean skipping grooming appointments.
Longer coats still need regular bathing, brushing and maintenance. In fact, allowing a coat to go too long between appointments can make tangles and matting more difficult to prevent.
Your groomer can help you choose a length and grooming schedule appropriate for your dog’s coat, lifestyle and the look you prefer.

Regular visits can also make the grooming experience more familiar for your dog.
